As of October 7, 2020, Columbia and Adair County numbers of new cases put us in the red zone as a Coronavirus critical hotspot. An unverified word on social media is that the spike in cases happened after a church held crowded revival meetings resulting in multiple people becoming infected with the virus.
Correction: This article previously identified a guest pastor as one of those infected, and this is not the case. We apologize for the confusion.
