Court Appointed Special Advocates sworn in

Six women from around the region took the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) oath in the swearing in ceremony of their first virtual training class at the Metcalfe County Courthouse. The ceremony was performed by Family Court Judge Mica Pence. CASA of South Central Kentucky works on behalf of vulnerable children in the child welfare system. The Kentucky Administrative Office of the Court (AOC) reported 1,443 cases of neglect, abuse, and dependency in the CASA service region in 2019. Comments | Permalink
