Recovering: First meal on his own after five months

The Carney family is celebrating Bam's continued positive steps toward recovery. His brother Mark shared word that, "Bam is now on a liquid diet and is able to eat jello, broth, and frozen lemon desert. This past Saturday, he was able to feed himself for the first time in 5 months and 7 days. It took him awhile to get the spoon from the dish to his mouth but he did it!
"He was able to get a haircut and shave yesterday and looked so good afterwards that we thought we should post his picture. This is the first picture that we have posted on Facebook since Bam was put in the hospital on December 23, 2019. You can tell through his smile that he is feeling better but we all know he still has a ways to go." Comments | Permalink
