Covid-19 Update: May 2020 ends with cases on the rise

After weeks of decline, positive COVID-19 cases were reported to be on the rise as May ended at both state and local levels in the 10-county Lake Cumberland District Health Department area. This is the result of two factors 1) social distancing restrictions have been relaxed as the economy is reopened, and 2) a failure of a significant number of the public to avoid crowds or to wear masks.
