As we enter into new seasonal weather challenges, County Judge Executive Gale Cowan, surrounded by first responders, designates March 1-7, 2020 as Severe Weather Awareness Week in Adair County, Kentucky. Emergency Management is responsible for preparing citizens for all forms of disasters including severe storms and tornados. They work with state and federal agencies, the National Weather Service, Kentucky Weather Preparedness Committee, local emergency officials and private businesses and citizens to bring awareness and to respond in emergencies.
