Pinewood Center in New Columbia now part of the City

The Columbia City Council heard the second Reading of Ordinance No. 110.44 to annex Pinewood Center and the vote was unanimous in favor in a special called meeting Thursday, November 14, 2019. The 17-acre property now has a “five-year real property tax abatement for any and all real property taxes owing to the city as a result of the property becoming territory of the city of Columbia."
