Adair County’s Joe Spires is featured in the September issue of Kentucky Monthly magazine. He proudly shared the article at the Revisit Knifley festival last weekend. He grew up in Spout Springs and worked with Henry Giles to help create the Janice Holt and Henry Giles cabin in Knifley where the authors wrote some twenty books.
