Traveling from Russell County toward Adair on Hwy 92, the sign tells you where one county stops and the other begins. Even without a sign, however, the red roofed historic Montpelier store and post office would let you know you've arrived. As the writer Jim said, "...some of the prettiest countryside in Kentucky, or most anywhere else in the world, for that matter, lies within a two mile radius of Montpelier." Comments | Permalink
