25 miles of paddling on Russell Creek can begin right behind NAPA Auto Parts on Campbellsville Street in Columbia where one of two Trail Town put ins is located, mowed and open. The open, mowed walk needs a couple of signs so it's easier to find. Trail Town status and its needs for the future of trails in Columbia will be on the agenda for the August 5, 2019 City Council meeting when it will be considered for Parks and Recreation possibilities.
