Not a pretty sight

Right after the spring mowing of this field, big birds of prey started circling and soon landed near the Town Creek in Columbia, having found what were likely baby animals that didn't escape the blade. These birds were the red topped Turkey Vultures, known to eat only dead animals, and thankfully not the black vultures which target young living animals. Comments | Permalink
