A patriotic red-white-and-blue dress created by the late Adair County resident Doris Kessler Downey for her daughter, Norma Jean Downey Blair '68, is on exhibit in a display case in the Lindsey Wilson University W.W. Slider Humanities Center lobby. Blair represented the Student National Educators Association in the 1967 Lindsey Wilson Homecoming parade, which had the winning float. A reception for the Lindsey Wilson Alumni Art Show will be held next to the display case from 4:30pmCT to 6:30pmCT on Thursday, November 5, 2026, in the Lucretia C. Begley Art Gallery.
