Travel: Make some noise at TDECU Stadium

Trey writes, "The scene is TDECU Stadium, the home of the Houston Cougars, as the Coogs defeated the University of Central Florida (UCF) on Saturday, September 3, 2026.

TDECU Stadium, despite having a brutal name, is one of the nicest small stadiums I have been to, featuring much greater premium seating and club space than the near-90,000-capacity Jordan-Hare Stadium I visited a couple of weeks ago.

Even on a hot Texas day, a decent amount of people still braved the sun to cheer on the Coogs, which showed the crowd-noise design of TDECU Stadium to be quite good as well. The University of Houston generally wears red when at home, but this day was their annual 'Built by Houston' game, where they featured a beautiful Space City Blue throughout game day."
