The Caretakers Riding Club met at Giles Cabin in Knifley, KY ahead of the 2026 Giles Fall Festival. For the Caretakers, the formula remains remarkably simple. Start the motorcycles. Find somebody who could use a hand. Ride. And help. Sometimes the beneficiary is a family. Sometimes it is a band, a ministry or an organization working with veterans. And sometimes, it is to help preserve an old log cabin beside a pond where the stories of author Janice Holt Giles and her husband Henry are still remembered. Comments | Permalink
