Farmer's Appreciation and Awards Day, hosted by Kentucky Department of Agriculture's Raising Hope program, was at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Dobson Farms, owned and operated by the late Dale Dobson and his brother, Dennis Dobson, was honored as the Kentucky Farmer of the Year.
