On the Sunday drive in 1972 - After crossing the Portland bridge, proceed to an intersection with a grassy triangle in the center. Turn right. It will be Highway 532 but there is no marker here. This leads you back to Highway 61. Remind yourself to return in the spring when all those redbuds and dogwoods are blooming. In June, wild roses, black-eyed Susans, and field daisies predominate.
