The basket of local items donated by the Jane Lampton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to the Mark Twain Storytelling Festival was won by Brian and Carol Thomas. They are pictured here with new DAR member Valerie Jane Murrell Adams, at left. The cut out of literary artist Mark Twain, who's mother Jane Lampton was an Adair County native, is included just for fun.
