Saturday, November 8, 2025 was a record-setting day for Lindsey Wilson University junior running back Davontaye Saunders of Eminence, Kentucky. Saunders rushed for three touchdowns and a program single-game rushing record 299 rushing yards on 14 carries in Saturday's gameat Parnell Family Stadium. Saunders also set the Blue Raiders' single-season record for rushing yards with 1,440 yards on the season. No. 9-ranked Lindsey Wilson beat Cumberland (Tennessee) University 56-37 to improve to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the Mid-South Conference.
