Good spot for birding

A wide range of water and shore birds can usually be seen from The Falls of the Ohio State Park's Interpretive Center in downtown Clarksville, Indiana. On a recent Friday afternoon, there were dozens and dozens of great blue herons and egrets, flocks of cormorants (bottom right) a huge variety of gulls, and at least one bald eagle (the black and white blur at top left). While the park and Interpretive Center are in Indiana, the lock and dam structure is in Kentucky, making these arguably "Birds of Kentucky." Comments | Permalink
