Scenic Kentucky: Low Elevation Rainbow

Robert writes, "I photographed this low, to the ground Rainbow, along the Highway 55 Bypass in Campbellsville. I've never seen one this low in the sky.
A little fuss was involved getting the photo; as usual I had vehicles lined up in behind me (since I poke along doing photography). I caught a glimpse of it initially to my left, and had to wait for the line of cars to pass before I could park near the soybean field in the photo. Then, knowing rainbows diminish about as quickly as they appear, I had to choose my composition rapidly-an (unseen) barn on the left or the tree in the field. The tree was more strategically positioned...so here's the shot!" Comments | Permalink
