There is a Flash Flood Watch along and south of the Kentucky parkways in central Kentucky until 10amCT/11amET. The rest of the day Thursday will be mostly dry, but the potential for more heavy rain returns Thursday evening. Flooding concerns remain, especially if more rain falls over already saturated areas. Rogers Scholars in service work

The Lindsey Wilson College Rogers Scholars were at the Fairgrounds Park Wednesday giving their service, cleaning up the park and bleachers. The Rogers Scholars program is an intensive one-week summer session for rising high school juniors from 42 counties in Southern and Eastern Kentucky, including Adair County. Rogers Scholars interact with state and national leaders and work with high-quality instructors to develop technological skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and a commitment to rural Kentucky.
