Ivy and me by the Creek

My old dog Ivy and I enjoyed a small bonfire last night, while watching the moon and stars playing peekaboo with the clouds. So relaxing to hang out by the creek, listening to the night voices and the babbling of the creek!

Postcards from LWC: Krunal Soni

Meet Krunal Soni, joining the LWC family from Visnagar, India. Krunal says he chose to come to Lindsey not only because it "is a very prestigious college and [he has] friends studying" here, but because it would provide him in-depth career experience. While moving to the US was financially difficult, he says that LWC's tuition was affordable enough to help make the move happen. Krunal says the most interesting place he has been to is Yosemite National Park in California, "which is surrounded by mountains and hills with beautiful weather and scenic views."

He says that in Gujarat, the state he's from, a favorite tradition is a festival called "Navratri," held in celebration of the goddess Ambe. At this festival, friends and family gather to perform traditional dances with wooden sticks for two to three hours each day for nine days. When asked to share a fun fact about himself, Krunal says, "I am a very positive guy but sometimes I like to dare beyond my limits." One way he's dared beyond his limits, for example, was by building the courage to go skydiving with a friend. We're thrilled to have Krunal joining us at LWC!
