Another Chamber of Commerce September picnic and fundraiser auction wrapped up just after sunset Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Veterans Memorial Park in Columbia. Taking care of paperwork was the last chore of the evening, handled by Treasurer Cindy Turner, at left, and Executive Director Ellen Zornes, at right. Rev. Bobby Bowe, at left, made the winning bid for the fire pit at the annual Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce picnic and auction Tuesday. It was presented by Dr. Ronald "Butch" Rogers. Chamber Executive Director Ellen Zornes said, "Butch is a long time member, Board member and volunteer for our Chamber of Commerce. He is always up for anything asked of him . . . even auctioneering.
