City Council opens first meeting of 2023

The Columbia City Council held its first meeting of 2023 on Tuesday, January third since the holiday fell on the regular schedule of first Monday. Two new council members were welcomed and appointments were made. A bid was approved which will allow landscape architect Darren Henson to move ahead with the walking path at the Citizens Park on Burkesville Street. Everyone heading into the postoffice today was sprinting through heavy rain in a warm sixty degrees on this January 3, 2023. We have a report from William Feese who watches the Frymire Winter Forecast and said predictions were for a cold nine degrees on this date. Comments | Permalink
