Remembering Welby Sandidge and his journey west

Welby Sandidge grew up outside Edmonton and, as many did during the Depression era, went west to seek an income. He came back to Metcalfe County to get his girl, Isabelle Leftwich, and they would marry and start their family in California. This picture of their mobile home in California was among the collection his son gave to his daughter Jan Sandidge who shared it recently. Comments | Permalink
