Mike writes: "Coffee Day--From the Adair County News, 6 February 1973, page 1: Coffey Day at the lunch counter of Collins Corner Drug--notice out the window, upper left, the view of the Jamestown Street end of the Courthouse, and beyond is the front of what is now Mike and Laura Harris's law office building, and perhaps a sliver of Nanwood Market.

The original caption read, 'Left to right, Ed Williams, Bill Derting, Milton Stephens, Homer Tweedy, Robert Chapman, Herbert Lacy, and Dr. George Webb were all being served by Mrs. Zona May Hedrick.'"

Light ice accumulations tonight/Tuesday

2023-01-30 - Kentucky - Photo courtesy National Weather Service
The National Weather Service expects a light wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and freezing drizzle mainly across central KY later this evening through Tuesday morning. A major ice storm is NOT expected at this time, but there may be some inconvenience and slick spots for travelers. The best chance for minor ice accumulations around a tenth of an inch will be around Bowling Green, to Hodgenville, to Richmond, KY.
