Cheers - starting the day with hot cup of coffee

Audra Campbell likes to start her day enjoying a hot cup of coffee according to her daughter Rita. Her comment reminded me of my Mom who, like Audra, started her day with a hot cup of black coffee and a buttered biscuit - with a twist.
Mom, following in her own mother's footsteps, would open a hot biscuit, slather a good bit of butter onto each half, then toast it in the oven until the butter was melted and the edges were crisp. -- LW Comments | Permalink

The current situation on our roadways includes of all types of trash being thrown out or lost from backs of vehicles going to the transfer station. This is just one of many bags that were in the road on L. Willis Road on Saturday afternoon. Comments | Permalink
