Rainy weather on Thursday let up so the outdoor Field Day event could be held as scheduled. Vicky said, "After a brief mist of rain we had a beautiful rainbow appear overhead. Board member Brenda Mann and her sweet granddaughter Alaina were at the July Chamber of Commerce meeting. The August Chamber meeting will be held at Holmes Bend Marina Restaurant. They have added both indoor and outdoor seating and will provide lunch to the guests from their menu.
