Adair County School leadership and students in the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) program held a ceremony for the community at their ribbon cutting event last Wednesday. Vicky Pike reports that a new calf was born yesterday morning at the site of the old sinkhole where her parents told her (to make her behave) that old Bud Mullins, the neighborhood boogie man, lived in her time. She said Ed Waggener would love it. Vultures were sitting in the trees around the sinkhole, waiting for an opportunity to get the calf, but she got to the little one in time and all is well.
