Saunders pulls away from defenders on TD run

Lindsey Wilson University junior running back Davontaye Saunders of Eminence, Kentucky, pulls away from St. Thomas (Florida) University defenders on a 79-yard touchdown run to give the Blue Raiders a 14-0 lead with 5:45 left in the first quarter of Saturday's game at Parnell Family Stadium. Saunders' run was the fourth-longest touchdown run in Blue Raider program history, and Lindsey Wilson defeated No. 8-ranked St. Thomas 52-24 to give the Blue Raiders a 3-0 start on the season for the first time since 2022.

Robert writes, "While on my morning walk I always try to remember to carry my cell phone with me in case I spot something photographable. This scene with the colorful Sassafras leaves, and a wild rose vine growing amongst them, enticed me to finish the walk and retrieve my Canon camera."
