The first Miss Lake Cumberland Pageant, held fifty-one years ago this spring, on Saturday night, April 14, 1973, in the V. P. Henry Auditorium at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia.
Doug says, "The winner was Brenda Brookshire from Lexington, KY. The only other person I remember is the lady on the left, Cynthia Parnell from Columbia."

Anna writes, "This is Abe. He has been missing from the Pellyton area since Wednesday afternoon (1/31/2024). He is very friendly and obeys very well. He tends to make his rounds and is always home when we arrive from work. Wednesday evening he never returned home. We have scanned all the nearby roads in case he was in an accident and haven't seen any trace of him. If anyone happened to pick him up thinking he was a stray, we understand and would just like our dog back.
My children and I are are absolutely heartbroken and would love to see his safe return. If anyone knows anything about him or has seen him, please let me know! My phone number is 270-250-2131" Comments | Permalink
