The Arnolds visited the Utzon Center, named for Danish architect Jorn Oberg Utzon (1918-2008) while they were in Aalborg. Among the displays is an architect's model of Utzon's most well-known project, the Syndey Opera House.
Located on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour in Australia, the Syndey Opera House is widely regarded as one of the world's most famous and distinctive buildings, and a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture. Comments | Permalink

The Utzon Center in Aalborg was Jorn Utzon's last work of architecture. Located on the Limfjord waterfront in the city where Utzon spent his childhood, the building was completed in 2008, the year Utzon died.
In addition to the permanent exhibition of his work on display in the gallery hallways, the centre of architecture and design contains exhibition spaces, auditorium, workshop facilities for architecture students, children's workshops focussing on play and learning, a design shop and a restaurant, JORN, with a view over the harbour.
