KDA welcomes summer interns

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture welcomed 12 college interns this summer to work alongside KDA employees gaining insight into the agriculture field. Big Al heading for three-million miles of driving

Al Owens shared a very special anniversary, "21 years ago today I started a life changing career in the trucking industry. I was a middle aged man who had not been able to find steady work that fulfilled me. But here I was comfortable and happy.
I have had the opportunity to see the lower 48, every major city, and do things with my life that I never dreamed I could accomplish. I have been very fortunate in my life and my beautiful wife Denise Railley Owens has helped us achieve the American Dream. Later this year I will have driven 3 million miles helping to make this beautiful country keep striving to be a World leader." Comments | Permalink
