Grimsley receives painting of historic Courthouse

Charles Grimsley, at left, was gifted with a painting of the historic Adair County Courthouse last week by Columbia Police Chief Evan Burton who said, "I appreciate Mr. Grimsley and his work in preserving history in Columbia." Robert writes, "I made a mental note to take a picture of these barns on my return trip from following this road to its end. I was also fortunate to meet the Farmer who owned them and gained permission to take all the photos I wanted. This road is narrow, with no pulling-off-the-road type parking, so I had to wait for him to pull out so I could get his spot. I had already parked and was walking back down the road to compose the shot when these 'guys' (they came out of nowhere) poked their head around the corner of the barn...uh, thank you!"
