John Muir, naturalist, author, environmental philosopher, botanist, zoologist, glaciologist, and early advocate for the preservation of wilderness in the United States, is known by many as Father of America's National Parks.

Muir's travels in Kentucky will be the subject of a presentation at the Trabue-Russell House by Marco Sioli, a professor of American history visiting from University of Milan in Italy, at 11:30amCT on Wednesday May 29, 2024.
