The Breeding FD Technical Rescue Team deployed 2 watercraft and retrieved 2 canoeists who had been stranded by floodwaters on Memorial Day.

Canoeists stranded by rushing waters on Green River

Two experienced canoeist put in on Green River at Liberty (Casey County) before Sunday night's rainfall. On Memorial Day, they capsized, forcing them to abandon their canoe approximately 5 miles upstream of Snake Creek Ramp.
They were located by KY Fish and Wildlife and then Breeding FD Technical Rescue Team deployed 2 watercraft and retrieved the individuals without incident or injury. Comments | Permalink
