This awesome carousel was set up Tuesday after the storms passed out of Adair County and will be ready to run starting at 5pmCT Wednesday evening. The carnival rides are FREE, just $5 for parking. The fair is located at 256 Industrial Park Road (just past the site of the old OshKosh factory) in Columbia. Comments | Permalink

A day or storms Tuesday did not prevent the volunteers working to bring the Adair County Fair carnival to life. Setup was being done as the sun came out late afternoon. The carnival opens Wednesday, June 31, 2024! Comments | Permalink

Homeplace on Green River gets a funding boost

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, executives from NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, presented a $5,000 donation to Homeplace on Green River Program Director Lyn Stanton and members of the Homeplace Board to help increase Homeplace on Green River's outreach and mission.
