Aubrie Compton receives memorial scholarship

Congratulations to MCHS senior Aubrie Compton, center, the first recipient of the Coach Gary Richardson Memorial Scholarship. Aubrie, the 19-year-old daughter of Stevie and Valarie Compton, will receive $1,000 to further her academic career. Coach Richardson was the first Metcalfe County Girls Basketball Coach (1974-1992), Athletic Director, Metcalfe County Principal, and Metcalfe County Superintendent.
