T.J. Community Mission Foundation welcomes Children's Day

The T.J. Community Mission Foundation (TJCMF) is proud to announce that Children's Day has officially become a program of the Foundation. The public announcement took place during a resolution signing ceremony at the Champions of Care Luncheon, hosted by TJCMF on Friday, October 4, 2024. The resolution was signed by Children's Day Fund Board Chair Helena Birdwell, Dr. Bharat Mody, Chair Emeritus of the Children's Day Board, and T.J. Whereas, The 115 members of the Russell County Extension Homemakers Association completed more than 4,183 hours of volunteer service in 2023-2024. Now, Therefore, I, Randy Marcum, Judge Executive of Russell County, do hereby proclaim October 13th to 19th, 2024, as Kentucky Extension Homemakers' Week.
