LWC Student Highlight: First-time voter

Kisha Burton writes, "Kori Campbell, a freshman at Lindsey Wilson College, cast her vote for the first time today. Kori has also been encouraging her friends at LWC to exercise their right to vote and make their voices heard. She shared that her enthusiasm for politics was inspired by influential people in her life, especially her father and her middle school teacher, who encouraged her to be thoughtful and engaged from a young age.
Kori used shuttles provided by the Center for Civic Engagement and Student Leadership to help students access voting more easily." Comments | Permalink
