LWC 120th Commencement Ceremonies this Saturday

Lindsey Wilson College will hold two ceremonies to accommodate the large crowds expected for the 120th commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
This will be the largest winter commencement in the 121-year history of the college. A total of 843 degrees will be conferred, including 170 undergraduate and 673 graduate degrees. Notably, the ceremony will award 11 doctoral degrees -- the highest number ever presented at a single LWC commencement ceremony. Comments | Permalink

Travel: The Wood Tower

While traveling in Germany, the Arnold family took a day trip to the city of Mainz, the capital and largest city of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Veronica says, "We saw the Holzturm, near the banks of Rhine. The weather was gross, cold, foggy. So we couldn't see the river clearly. But was hard to miss this medieval tower. "
Wikipedia says, "The Wood Tower (German: Holzturm) is a mediaeval tower in Mainz, Germany, with the Iron Tower and the Alexander Tower one of three remaining towers from the city walls.
