Congratulations to ACMS Spelling Bee Champions!

Sixth-grader Reed Duncan (left), Seventh-grader Chloe Grider (right), and Eight-grader Emma McGuffin (center) were the grade level winners in the Adair County Middle School Spelling Bee. These 3 students out-spelled the rest of the 25 class-level winners, and went head to head for several rounds. Reed Duncan was the eventual School Champion, and will advance to the Regional Spelling Bee in Lexington this March.

New School Report Card platform

The above graphic is required public notice for the school district of the state release of the new School Report Card platform. District and school information is now available at https://reportcard.kyschools.us.

This data was released publicly by the state and the district in October 2024 in spreadsheet form, but the KDE platform was not operational at that time. This is not new released assessment scores.

Summer the Chicken attends 4-H meeting

Riley Janes, Adair County 4-H member, age 9, brought his chicken, Summer, to this week's meeting of the Rabbit/Poultry Club at the Adair County Extension Office. More delightful pictures from the meeting can be seen on the Facebook page of the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service.
