A surprise presentation honored Red Cross 25-year volunteer Colonel Jason Rector, center, at Tuesday's Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Trabue Russell House in Columbia. Ciara West, Red Cross representative, at right, shared the gratitude for his service, saying "he never once refused a call for help in all those years. The newly built Adair County High School FFA Greenhouse is among the five stops on the Outdoor Home and Garden Tour coming up Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1 to 4pmCT.
