Lindsey Wilson graduates Victor and his wife Sharilyn Tellis plan to bring their grandkids to this year's Safe Halloween, a tradition Victor helped to kick off way back in 1994. Clifty Shelter near the North Entrance to Clifty Falls State Park, is nestled among tall trees, and is a good starting point for some of the shortest hikes to Clifty Falls and Little Clifty Falls.

City of Columbia donates rescue tank to BVFD

The City of Columbia made a donation of a surplus rescue tank to the Breeding Fire Department last week. Columbia Police Chief Evan Burton made the presentation to Brandon Harvey with the Breeding Fire Department. The tank will be utilized in the fire department's continuing water rescue efforts. Mayor Hoots joined Burton and Harvey for the presentation.
