Donation for Trabue House Preservation

Christan Bell Montgomery Gimbel has donated $5,000.00 to the City of Columbia for preservation of the historic Trabue Russell House. Members of the Trabue Russell House Committee presented a check to the City at the October meeting of the City Council.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, 116 people gathered at historic Antioch Church to celebrate their 160th Anniversary on the present property. During the serivce, former pastors and Antioch's present pastor, Carol Weddle, were presented with a small gift of appreciation to their devotion to the Antioch family.
Each person present received a "history" booklet, an ornament, and a "Sparksville News" bulletin. Comments | Permalink
