Witherspoon Hall, a High Victorian Gothic dormitory built on the campus of Princeton University in the late 1800's, was nearly torn down in the 1970s, before a campaign by students and faculty to "Save our 'Spoon" led to renovations.

Remi enjoying a mud puddle

Peg says that her beagle Remi finds pleasure digging holes and then when it rains, playing in them in the mud. "We could learn a lot from Remi. Despite her handicap, she makes the best of life. I love her so much. Her attitude and spirit are amazing."

Begley Art Gallery to feature 6 shows in 2025-26

The Lindsey Wilson University 2025-26 Lucretia C. Begley Art Gallery exhibition schedule will feature six shows between Aug. 25, 2025 through July 31, 2026.

The season opens August 25, 2025, with "Lucretia Begley Retrospective: A Delicate Expression of the Seasons," a retrospective of the career of Adair County artist Lucretia C. Begley, whose gallery bears her name. Begley was a public school teacher, served for nine years as an art professor on the Lindsey Wilson faculty and became a well-known Southcentral Kentucky artist. Begley's works will be on display through October 10, 2025.
