Three educators to join Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame

Three life-changing Kentucky educators will be joining The Louis B. Nunn Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame this year. The late Lois Chandler, Adair County Primary Center's Julie Cowan, and Jennifer Fritsch are the members of the 17th class. (Pictured in order, left to right.) They were selected by a statewide committee after a through application process. The formal 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will happen on Friday, November 7, 2025, on Western Kentucky University's campus. Comments | Permalink

On a weekend walk around the Trabue Russell House grounds - checking the roses still in bloom and the medical plant garden out back - this curious squirrel paused to make sure I was not after the same walnuts it was. - LW Comments | Permalink
