Football: Lamb looks for open receiver

Lindsey Wilson University quarterback Pryor Lamb of Paducah, Kentucky, looks for an open receiver in the second quarter of Thursday night's season-opening game against Texas Wesleyan University at Parnell Family Stadium. Lamb threw for four touchdowns and 333 yards on 15-of-27 passing to help the Blue Raiders beat the No. 10-ranked Rams 45-10.

Football: Khia Sherrard sets receiving yards record

Lindsey Wilson University wide receiver Khia Sherrard of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, sprints to the end zone for his third touchdown in the game, a 75-yard pass play from quarterback Pryor Lamb of Paducah, Kentucky, in the third quarter of Thursday night's season-opening game against Texas Wesleyan University at Parnell Family Stadium.

The touchdown gave Lindsey Wilson a 35-10 lead, and the Blue Raiders went on to beat the No. 10-ranked Rams 45-10. Sherrard's total 215 receiving yards in the game is a new Blue Raider record for receiving yards in a game.

Football: Larry Montgomery celebrating a touchdown

Lindsey Wilson University offensive lineman Larry Montgomery (No. 59) of Louisville, Kentucky, congratulates running back Davontaye Saunders after Saunders reached the end zone on a 14-yard pass play in the second quarter of Thursday night's season-opening game against Texas Wesleyan University at Parnell Family Stadium.

Saunders' first of two touchdowns gave the Blue Raiders a 21-10 lead. For the game, Saunders had 109 total yards -- including a game-high 86 rushing yards on 15 carries -- and the Blue Raiders beat the No. 10-ranked Rams 45-10.
