Municipal: Municipal Building--Columbia City Hall--as it looks currently. The library moved to this new building in 1965 and occupied most of the first floor. There was then a white concrete 'screen' between the existing pillars that allowed a filtered light through. This was removed in the renovation of about ten years ago. Note this photo also shows the new addition of the City Police section on the upper or right end of the building toward the Square. This occupies the site of the old Pool Room.
