March 29th is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Several local Vietnam Veterans gathered with Mayor Pam Hoots for the proclamation signing of National Vietnam War Veterans Day for our community. VFW Post 6097 says Thank You to Jacob Morrison

This message with the American Flag was found at front door of our VFW Post. Joe Hare, VFW 6097, writes, "We are so happy and proud to have such a thoughtful and patriotic young man in our community. Thank you Jacob Morrison for being so patriotic."
The note he left beside the flag reads, "I found this tattered little flag on the ground in a junkyard and I could not stand to see it lying there in the dirt... The flag is small but still a symbol of our country and deserves a proper send-off. May God bless you and all and our great nation. - Jacob Morrison" Comments | Permalink

County Judge Executive Gale Cowan, County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison and four of the magistrates left to right - Daryl Flatt, Harold Burton, Billy Coffey and Terry Hadley - were present for the Adair County Fiscal Court special called meeting March 28, 2019 in the Annex Basement. Fiscal Court meets monthly on the second Tuesday, the next will be Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 6pmCT in the basement meeting room of the Courthouse Annex on the Public Square in Columbia.
