New clock in City Council meeting room

Council Members June Parson and Dr. Ronald Rogers are seated in front of the new time piece on the wall of the City Council meeting room in Columbia. The one it replaces had to be retired as it kept loosing time between meetings, requiring everyone to get out their cell phones to check for the exact 6pm start time each month. First Monday meetings are open to the public and citizen comment time is the first item on the agenda. Comments | Permalink

Campbellsville Elementary School recently presented its first-ever musical production. Fifth-graders presented “Madagascar Jr.” The students spent several weeks learning lines, practicing scenes and making costumes. CES teachers Cyndi Chadwick and Adrienne Hash directed the musical.
